The candles that Scott and Annie hand pour are created with uniquely designed fragrances that evoke nostalgic emotions. With every flicker of the flame a one of a kind atmosphere is created enticing your senses and triggering a wonderful memory. Their motto is "Every scent tells a story..." and we decided without a doubt that the photos of each of their candles needs to tell that story.

Rather than choose to go with an all too common white back drop, we crafted custom table top scenes to create that exact mood which makes you recall a memory of that warm summer day hanging out with Dad having some ice tea or let's travel further back in time and imagine the experience of playing poker, drinking rum and making big bets in a saloon during the 1800's.

Each image is carefully styled down to every detail. Lighting is a critical and a very magical component to telling these stories of hand poured candles. With over 70 products that all deserved equal attention to detail, we found it wise to group like items to make our photo shoot more productive in the hours we had.

I also provided the label and packaging graphic design as part of a comprehensive branding strategy, design and campaign package for Four Points Trading Co.
