I provided the overall creative vision for the 3rd Marvel attraction for the Walt Disney Company's Parks and Resorts portfolio. This is the second Marvel-themed attraction for the beautiful Hong Kong Disneyland Park. Ant-Man and The Wasp is an interactive gaming experience, which you are called on by Ant-Man and The Wasp to help them defeat Arnim Zola and his army of swarm-bots. The swam-bots are tunneling into S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Science and Technology Pavilion at Stark Expo to steal the DataCore, which contains a wealth of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s research on alien weapon technology.

As Creative Director for this multi-million dollar attraction, I lived in Hong Kong for almost two years. But, this project started in California, where I led my fantastic team to develop the story and show sets. I really enjoy having a hands-on approach. I was involved with creating concept images, production art, and working in 3d, I created animatics and models for the visual effects and fabrication teams. I utilized a unique UV blacklight technique coupled with very sophisticated 3D renderings to create a vibrant and compelling world for guests to be immersed in.

My responsibilities included working with Peyton Reed to direct Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, who reprised their roles from the blockbuster Marvel films. I also directed Hong Kong actress Jessica Hsuan who played the role of SHIELD's Chief Engineer. She works with Ant-Man and The Wasp to help coordinate the response to Arnim Zola's attack. There is, of course, the villain, voiced by British actor Toby Jones, who I directed a voice-over session in London. This attraction wouldn't be complete without an epic musical score, so I worked with the talented Christophe Beck to create a custom score. This project turned out amazing, with massive crowds arriving on opening day to experience the new attraction and see Paul Rudd and Jessica Hsuan. A big thanks to all the talented Imagineers who worked so hard to bring this very exciting and fun attraction to reality.
